Hi Cali -

I find you to be an extremely intelligent and conscientious person, based upon my experience with Geekbrief. So I wonder if you consciously choose to ignore certain aspects of the meat industry or if you are just plain unaware? I implore you to watch "Earthlings". www.earthlings.com After viewing I would love to hear your views.

Thank you,
Jason

I look forward to all the things that will make it onto this blog/podcast. I appreciate your bias list. If Chipotle is your baseline for a good burrito than this sites commentary should be able to steer you in the right direction for finding good burritos. Chipotle is terrible. Living in Texas I assumed you would know that ;)

Great idea for your Big Trip but where does one but chili in this list. If your travels take you to Cincinnati, you have to visit Skyline Chili. http://www.skylinechili.com

I haven't lived in Cincy since joining the Air Force in '83 but Skyline is a must visit whenever home with family. Skyline Chili serves 'Cincinnati-style Chili', a boiled chili. I am sure your Texas friends would not call it chili but it is great. The original was created in 1922 at Empress Chili and they still operate 2 or 3 locations. Skyline was started in 1949 by a former Empress chef who thought he could do better. I don't know if he suceeded but Skyline Chili is great. Good travels.

Hey, Neal, great idea. You'll always need to eat, you'll be on the road anyway, you've already got the equipment, and you're streaming live often enough...gee, why wouldn't you do this? Maybe the Food Network will gobble you up.
Most of all, I like that you had an idea and got something going. All the best with this and everything!

Hmm... Not sure where you are going with this website - or why - but... I always like to support new efforts (and I am a big time carnivore).
Burgers, burritos, and BBQ, huh? Ok. I'll bite.
Oh, my favorite recipe? Find a cow, kill it, cook it, eat it. Aah!
Continued success to you. (Thanks for the book recommendations.)
